A bottle with an evil spirit trapped inside accidentally dropped into a lake at a resort. Few years later, Mawar overtakes the resort and there are mysterious things happen. Fauzi who just lost his wife and daughter in a fatal accident comes to this resort for holiday. Mawar tries to help him getting rid of his depression. However, the invasion of Hantu Air troubles the resort customers continuously.

Hantu Air mengisahkan kerana kecuaian, botol berisi semangat jahat terjatuh ke dalam tasik sebuah resort. Selepas itu, berlaku beberapa aktiviti paranormal di resort yang diurus Mawar. Lebih teruk, beberapa penghuni resort mempunyai latar belakang hitam sendiri.

Fauzi yang baru kehilangan anak dan isteri bertemu Mawar dan mula berkawan rapat. Manakala Ramli dan Ros yang menginap di situ bersama anak mereka kecewa dengan pengurusan resort. Dua rakan baik, Jennifer dan Alicia pula berada di situ kerana sukakan aktiviti lasak yang disediakan.
